It all started with a sleepless night and a crying puppy named Cooper.

Bringing a new puppy home is one of life’s most joyful moments—but for the puppy, it can be the most stressful. When I first brought Cooper home, I had everything ready: the premium kibble, the softest blankets, and plenty of toys. But when the lights went out, the crying started.

Cooper wasn't just being difficult; he was scared. For the first time in his life, he was away from the warmth and the rhythmic, comforting heartbeat of his mother and littermates.

Watching him tremble, my heart broke. I spent that night with my hand on his chest, feeling him gradually calm down under my touch. That’s when it hit me: New puppies don’t need more toys; they need a sense of security.

The Birth of KindredPaws™

I searched for a solution that could mimic that maternal presence. Many products were too loud, too hard, or simply didn’t feel "real." I wanted something better—not just for Cooper, but for every new puppy parent facing those same midnight whimpers.

KindredPaws™ was born from that mission. We spent months perfecting our Heartbeat Soothing Sheep. We chose the softest, ultra-plush Sherpa fleece and designed it with a peaceful, "closed-eye" expression—because we believe calmness is contagious. At its core, we placed our "Real-Feel" pulse heart module to recreate the exact frequency of a mother’s heartbeat.
